La Casa di Pippinitto |
|
| A stay in true contact with nature, in Sicily |
Set between the sea and Etna, Pippinitto's House Bed and breakfast is a spacious structure, built at the beginning of the XIX century. We offer accommodation with breakfast on our farm which extends for 8 hectares. The farm mainly produces citrus fruits, but we also grow many different types of fruit and vegetables for the family and guests. We are proud of the fact that our farm is organic, (and uses only the natural goodness of the fertile volcanic soil. We believe that the flavour and nutrious content of our produce is greatly improved by the lack of chemicals.)
Pippinitto's House offers open and sunny shared areas, as well as intimate private corners. You will have the opportunity to become better acquainted with the landscape and culture of Etna, and to relax in utter solitude. We offer four options, each one with it's own private entrance, kitchen or use of a kitchen, and private bathroom. They are furnished in a Sicilian period style, and the furniture comes from this and other properties belonging to the family.
The true habitation of the manor farm, where until recently the farmer Pippinitto (Giuseppe) lived with his numerous family and donkey. It is furnished with period pieces. In winter it is heated by a log fire .
The other apartment, which has an old oven set into the wall, consists of one double bedroom, an open-plan sitting room and kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. In winter it is heated by a log fire.
La Casa di Pippinitto also offers 2 double rooms with private entrance and use of the kitchen. Spacious, sunny, quiet, furnished with period pieces, and includes a bathroom with shower. In winter it is heated by gas heaters.
