| The Venetian charm in a Venetian historic palace |
The legend says that firsts "Baute", headgear used during the sinful Venetian carnival, went round in Barbaria in the mysterious fifteenth-century palace of nobles Muazzo, and this palace is the today's Ca' Bauta. Ca' Bauta is situated few steps far from Campo ss. Giovanni e Paolo, one of the most spectacular place of Venice, thanks to the Renaissance façade of Scuola Grande of S. Marco, to the important mass of the temple which keeps mortal remains of doges and patricians, to the equestrian monument dedicated to Colleoni, and few minutes far from Piazza S. Marco,
Ca' Bauta takes its guests to make a travel between memory and present, where ancient suggestions blend with the most authentic dimension of daily, just that a Venetians will advice to those who would like to understand the delicates balances between light and shade, between lightness and solidity, between earth and water, on which the town of Venice bases its rhythms from centuries.
Ca' Bauta is the synthesis of this duplicity, just because the refinement of its furnitures, the brightness and spaciousness of its rooms, typical of Venetian palace, naturally blend with the urban territory of minor Venice, settling opposites, getting them meet, just how happened in the past, when behind the impenetrability of a mask, behind the anonymity guaranteed by the disguise, by the "Bauta", plebes and patriciate, lower-classes and doge could be close.
Ca' Bauta offers its guests the possibility to live again magic atmospheres in the heart of Venice, to feel the emotion of its silences, to be taking part with its secrets, to enjoy the discreet hospitality of a splendid ancient patrician Venetian residence.
