The "Villa Peruzzi" Bed & Breakfast is in a country house located in the green hills south of Florence, just 15 minutes by car from the historic city centre, at the start of the amazing Chianti area. Here you find the tower of the ancient Villa dei Marchesi Peruzzi. In the Nineteenth Century, this country villa was the home of the important literary salon of Emilia Peruzzi and was host to characters such as Cavour and Garibaldi, during their discussions after the conquest of South Italy.

The owners have recently restored the tower of the villa, where you find the spacious apartment containing the B&B. Guests are offered two lovely double rooms with private en-suite bathroom and a large dining room, whose amazing ceiling is adorned with Gothic arches.

The dining room is where breakfast is served. Breakfast is very fine, with cakes, jams and marmalades made by the owner herself, Tuscan ham, cheeses, eggs, fruit and fruit juices.

On request, the owners, who are real food lovers, can prepare you Italian or international dishes and can organise cooking courses lasting either a week or a week-end.

The guests will be provided with recommendations, if they so require, for the best walking trips in the surrounding areas, as well as details about concerts, exhibitions and all kinds of other events in the city.
