Come experience one of the beautiful villas that enrich the Veneto countryside. Our rooms, three deluxe suites, on the property of Villa Pasini, can be enjoyed by people visiting the area, or by professionals looking for an alternative to the standard hotel. The location is ideal for touring the beautiful cities of Vicenza, Padova, Venice, Verona as well as many small towns that you may not be familiar with, that will surprise you with their beauty and charm. The Villa is also convenient for those participating in the Vicenza Exhibition Center, and only a ten minute drive from the Vicenza-West exit of the Venice-Milano freeway.

The Villa Pasini Canera di Salasco was built in 1770 for the Franceschini family, silk manufacturers from Vicenza as their country residence. The architect Bertotti Scamozzi was called to design and follow the construction of this spectacular property.

The rooms are situated in a quiet courtyard, with access to a beautiful park where you can walk among the vinyards and enjoy the views of the surrounding Berici hills. Wine and olive oil are produced from the property's vinyards and olive trees. We have three "suites" available for rent, all three have two rooms, a bedroom with adjacent bathroom (shower and bath tub), and a living room with a sofa bed (for children or an extra adult), and a small kitchenette. In the spring and summer months breakfast can be served outside on the terrace.

The villa is composed of the main residence, noted for it's interesting facade, closed ground floor and magnificent second and third floor with Palladian style columns and a glass closure. There are also two greenhouses that have been transformed into living and working spaces. The deconsecrated church behind the villa is also used as a private home.

Villa Pasini B&B is run by native Californian Cynthia Rising, who has been living in Italy for over fifteen years. Her husband, Aldo Cibic, is an internationally known architect who has his main studio in Milano, but has recently created a research workshop in the spacious "lemon" greenhouse of the villa. Even though Cynthia is not originally from Vicenza, she has become well acquainted with the cities, the sites, shopping, restaurants etc.
