The villa Petraroma consists of an elegant house, exquisitely furnished with antiques and family heirlooms, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden, in a vast olive-grove. It is ideally located to explore the Sicily. Villa Petraroma lies in a large olive-grove just between Sant'Agata di Militello and Capo d'Orlando, on the north coast of Sicily, at the foot of the great Nebrodi Natural Park. It is 8 km from San Gregorio (beautiful large sand beach), 70 km from Cefalù, 130 Km from Palermo, 150 km from Taormina, 45 minutes crossing to Aeolian Islands.

The ground floor offers living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, patio, well furnished garden; the first floor: spacious room with double bed, bathroom.

An elegant palm tree overlooks the villa. Altogether the garden is home to a variety of different species from exotic tropical countries, like sterlities, cicas, magnolia, however there is not lack of Mediterranean ones like olive, citrus and laurel trees and dwarf palms, according to the tradition of the most interesting Sicilian gardens.

The Monti Nebrodi area presents an unexpected side to Sicily: covered with forests with foxes, wild cats, eagles; splendid panoramic views of the three different Sicilian volcanoes: Etna, Vulcano, Stromboli.

Many interesting charming towns as San Fratello with its gentle green hills, and its famous wild horses galloping across the landscape. Floresta: town remote and grey, the highest township in Sicily (1'275 m), with Etna for a backdrop. Capo d'Orlando: with its lovely beach, San Gregorio, where the fine sand is strewn with odd-shaped boulders. Santo Stefano di Camastra: the town transformed into an exhibition space of colourful ceramics, among the best in Sicily. San Marco d'Alunzio with its many churches of the original Baroque magnificent appearance. Tindari: famous promontory 'lonely mythical and sacred'. The Aeolian Islands: one of the earth's most enchanting archipelagos.
