An enchanting farmhouse and an ideal location to visit Sicily

Casali di Margelli is surrounded by the typical landscape of the Nebrodi Park, in the Fitalia Valley, a Sicilian area still keeping precious natural treasures. The farmhouse is situated 5 km away from San Salvatore, a small village of antique origin and a few km from the beaches of Capo d'Orlando.

The farm covers over 50 hectares of hills, including natural drinkable water springs, 300 metres above the sea level, with olive, nut, citrus trees, where the wild woods live like deers, pheasants and the farm animals grown according to the organic farming.

Hospitality is offered in various mansions, built in the early 800 andcompletely restored with traditional materials, from the brickwork and wood to the wrought iron and the local stone. 10 comfortable rooms have been realised this way, all equipped with private bathroom, heating and indipendent entrace facing the shared yard made for relax and work thanks to the internet and computer services.

The heart of the house id dominated by an old oil-mill with its original grindstone, and a series of original farmer tools which can be admired in a kind of country museum of the past. This historical house also offers a meeting room with bar and exposition of typical local products from organic farming (extra virgin olive oli, bees' honey, jams, tomato sauce, biscuits, bread and various sweets).

On the first floor, there is the restaurant where guests can enjoy the traditional dishes of local cuisine in a warm family atmosphere. The menu is changing according to the season and what nature offers. Very good oven and wine-cellar.

From the farm holidayst the historical goals of the tourism are caught up easy isolate: Isole Eolie, Parco dei Nebrodi, Tindari, Etna, Cefalù, Santo Stefano di Camastra, Palermo, Monreale, Siracusa, Agrigento, Piazza Armerina, Selinunte, Marsala.
