Those who choose to come to Tuscany know very well the reason why everyone admits that this is the most beautiful region in Italy. Its geographical location, its towns filled with culture, the sea and the mountains, without forgetting its countryside, its sweet hills, which make this - perhaps - one of the most beautiful regions in the world.

Our Locanda Barbarossa, whose name comes from a kind of vines recognised for the exquisite taste of its grapes, is positioned in the heart of one of the most beautiful region, the Chianti. Vineyards and olive trees, colourful flowers and the many scents around, make of the Locanda Barbarossa a true oasis of peace close to the beautiful town of Florence and to the typical many medieval villages of the Chianti region, where you can still "touch" the past.

Locanda Barbarossa offers 3 large suites finely furnished, each one able to accomodate up to 4 or 5 persons, being from 35 to 100 squared metres large. All of the suites are equipped with fridge, telephone and satellite television. The 2 larger suites, called Barbarossa and Paggio, are also equipped with a Jacuzzi hydromassage bathtub as well as a shower. The pride of our Locanda is, without doubts, the Barbarossa suite which includes a main bedroom, a smaller single bedroom, a living room which is decorated in the typical Tuscan style with frescos on walls and a lovely fireplace to add charm to your experience.

The Locanda may offer you also 1 triple bedroom and 2 double bedrooms, all of them finely furnished and equipped with fridge, telephone and satellite television. Available to all our guests is a wonderful swimmingpool equipped with sun-beds and umbrellas. The swimmingpool is placed in an ideal spot for relaxing and enjoying a cooling dip. Available to all of our guests is also a bright reading room, which is located in the main house. Here , on the terrace, you may enjoy a lovely view on the town of San Casciano.
